Achieve Your Goals Faster With Our Collaborative Approach
The link between an injury, physiotherapy, and exercise physiology is a crucial one, as we all work together to help you recover fully from injuries, regain function, and continue to lead active, healthy lives.
Here’s how we are all interconnected…
1. Injury Occurs
Physiotherapists can be the first point of contact when injury occurs. As primary contact practitioners, we can diagnose your condition and get you on the road to recovery fast.
2. Physiotherapy Assessment
Physiotherapists focus on diagnosing and providing an individualised treatment plan to help you restore function, manage pain and prevent future injury.
3. Exercise Physiologist
Exercise physiologists focus on exercise prescription following a diagnosis to provide specialised care in all stages of rehabilitation. We improve function in the long term, and reduce risk of re-injury.
THE LINK
Physiotherapists and exercise physiologists work together to provide comprehensive care to manage injury/health conditions and wellbeing in the long term.

You should allow an hour for your first appointment, and for any appointment that involves a new issue or injury. This gives the physio time to assess you thoroughly and to create and begin a treatment plan. Allow 30-40 minutes for follow up appointments.
Wear comfortable clothing, allowing access to the injured area if required. Don’t worry though, we do have shorts and gowns available for use if you find your clothing not quite right for treatment on the day.
