Emily Waugh
Australian Physiotherapist Association Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist
Emily completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015 at Charles Sturt University. She expanded her qualifications into a Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in 2023. She is also a Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
Emily joined the Focus Physio & Co (Formerly O’Neill Physiotherapy) team in 2018 and became the practice principal in 2022. While enjoying the variety that comes with working in private practice, her special interest lies in managing injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand.
In her capacity as Sports Physio, she enjoys helping athletes reach their full potential with injury rehab and performance goals.
Emily’s career has included working with elite sporting teams, including:
- KSTP World Champion Tumblers
- Penrith Panthers Rugby League with teams including the Tarsha Gale, Andrew Johns Cup and the Laurie Daley Cup (2017-2019).
- NSW State of Origin training camps for U18’s and Women’s (2019 & 2020).
- Windsor Wolves (2021) – Ron Massey and Sydney Shield.
- NSW Indoor Cricket for 3 seasons (2018/19, 2022)
- Cricket Australia – Indoor Cricket World Championships (2018)
